For the most part, no matter where you are located, you can get parts for your equipment in a number of places. The parts I want to discuss here are specialty parts.
What are specialty parts?
These are the parts that are extremely expensive OR parts you are always using a lot of OR parts that are hard to find.
If there is a particular part or parts that you are using all the time and maybe you have thought that you would be willing to buy a couple dozen of them and keep them in stock if you could save some money, let me have a stab at finding these parts for you and see what kind of a price you can get for a bulk purchase. This is a very important thought if you are a large franchise chain with possibly your own maintenance staff who seems to be buying a lot of the same thing. How do you know they are getting the best price for a water pump in your ice machines and maybe could not go somewhere else and save 30 or 40 bucks for each part?
Call me, and I will tell you.
Prior to doing this, I would appreciate it if you would candidly tell me the price you are already paying for the item so neither one of us wastes our time. Don’t worry that you are going to tell me $10.00 and I am going to come with a price of $9.75. This is not going to happen. Whatever price you tell me, the objective is for me to find it for you for at least 25% off your current price.
How about extremely expensive parts. Take for example the solid state temperature controller for a Middleby Marshall Oven. When you go to the OEM (Original Equipment of the Manufacturer) supplier; you will find that this controller will cost in the neighborhood of $800.00. I am able to get the exact same controller manufactured by the same company for about 2 to 3 hundred less depending on the quantity you want to buy. (ARE YOU LISTENING PAPA JOHN’S AND DOMINO’S?)
What about hard to find parts. Sometimes you need a part right now or if you cannot find a certain part, you will not be able to fix something and be forced to buy a new piece of equipment costing you thousands of dollars that are not in the budget. Chances are good that I can find that part for you and save the equipment.
This service is free. You can call us at any time at 210 520-6640 and ask for parts and I will be happy to see if I can help you with any part for any machine.
HOWEVER...
When you call, I will need some information. Be prepared to tell me the following:
The name of the machine. (Like, fryer, grill, refer, micro or whatever)
The model Number
The Serial Number
The name of the part if you know it or your best description.
Is the machine gas or electric (Like a fryer)
The voltage of the machine i.e. 120 or 240 and single phase or 3 phase.
How old the machine is.
Please feel free to call for any question, any time. Good advice is always free.
