I Hate That Crud!

Let me tell you why this page exists.

When I go to any business, and I don't care what they sell; the one thing I hate, with a passion, is to see one or two employees servicing customers and 5 other employees sitting in the back or standing at their desks seemingly doing nothing.

And it never fails that each time this happens there are from 5 to 10 people in line or waiting. (And I am number 9)

I am in a hurry! I do not have time to waste and I do not appreciate people who want to waste my time. I AM THE CUSTOMER!

I do not want to see employees standing doing nothing while I am waiting.* When I want service, I want it now, not 30 minutes later or 15 minutes later. I want it now!

Every business in the world sells service. No matter what product or thing you want to buy, you can probably buy it in 10 to 100 places. I want to do business where they give me great service or another way of putting it is: If I have cash right now, (or 10 stores in my chain) there better be someone who is prepared to kiss my ass.

So because of this idea, I make certain this does not happen with my company.

We have more than one office in our San Antonio branch, but it is my choice to sit in the busiest one. In this one office we have 5 desks. At these desks are myself, the main dispatcher, the main accountant, one administrative assistant and one spare desk for any technician who happens to come in.

All people in this office have specific instructions from me that no phone line is to ring more than 3 times before being answered. This means that no matter how busy we are, if that phone is ringing, you stop what you are doing and you pick up the phone and help the customer.

We have 8 phone lines coming in to this office. In this company there isn't one single thing that is more important than dealing with what ever problem a customer has at that very moment and seeing how fast we can get a technician out there to solve his problem.

That is my policy and that is exactly what happens when you call us for service. If this doesn't happen every single time for you, I want to hear from you by e-mail (you can click HERE ) or on my personal cell right now! That number is 210 389-3677.

Respectfully,

Ted Baker Owner: The Restaurant Repair Company
